The
problem may be caused by Norton Internet Security. Turn off
the Norton Internet Security software and try to access TA-470gr
web server again.
Why
does Chariot FTP test fail?
If
you directly connect Chariot PC to the WAN port and test using
the default Chariot FTP test script, the test will fail. This
is because Chariot PC with 100Mbps NIC card cannot directly
connect to the WAN port of TA-470gr router (Please refer to
the Chariot User Manual). The test can be done by adding a
10M hub between the Chariot PC and TA-470gr router or enlarge
the timing record of the test script.
Why
does Chariot HTTP test fail?
It
is because the TA-470gr IP table only accepts 256 entries
and Chariot will establish many connections (more than 256)
and send the packets to each connection in a very short time.
If any connection does not reply, the Chariot test will fail.
TA-470gr cannot accept more than 256 IP addresses in LAN and
when Chariot connections exceed 256, the connections will
not be established. Packets sent by Chariots for connections
above 256 will be dropped. To solve this problem, you have
to modify the test script.
